Firstly,i'd like to apologise as i've posted in threads before but have never really personally introduced myself.
I'm from Sydney Australia.
I've been playing video games before the existence of consoles.
Yeah,i'm that old lol.well,i'm not sixty or seventy yet! lol
I just turned 40 this year btw lol.
But hey,i'll still be playing video games even when I cross that bridge.
Back in those days(when I was a kid),the only form of entertainment(on a screen) was to either watch tv at home(boring) or go to your local amusement arcade.
There,i was in my own world.
I used my pocket money to play games like pacman,space invaders,ghosts n ghoblins,bomb jack,frogger,galaga,defender,xevious,donkey kong,karate champ etc.
Not sure why but typing karate champ brought back these memory flashes all of a sudden lol.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7A9jNDUMZEk
My wife keeps reminding me i'm not a kid anymore.lol
And my reply?
It's what I love doing in my own time.
Game on! I say.
Gaming is/was my first love,my wife was my second.
If she sees this,i'm in BIG trouble lol.
I love to game, but it doesn't control my life.
I mean,i've been to more than 60 cities round the world, built my own house(and bought a few more lol),work for myself..
Gotta have balance in life, regardless of what you do.
And to finish off, hats off to Housemarque for developing awesome games like SSHD,Dead Nation and Resogun to keep my arcade memories alive in this day and age.
