If you watch most of the streamers on YouTube they are all playing on Experienced, so even they realize how ridiculously hard this game is. Most of the big scores you see are on Experienced, for good reason.
There is a fine line between fun and frustrating. A VERY fine line. Make a game too easy and people get bored, make it too hard and you have..well....Nex Machina in it's current form.
Housemarque clearly succedded with their vision of the game, but they have cut off a large portion of the player base in the process. Just my opinion of course.

I am a fan of Dead Nation and every time HMQ release a new game I hope it will be a sequel of DN: I know this will keep to be a dream. It does not matter.
The idea of the Hero leaderboard is pretty interesting and have respect for it and the game.
I agree with the man (Steve) advising not to surrender and continue playing. And be patient. Do not hurry up: maybe play when you feel zen.
Finally the players entering the Hero leaderborad will be the arcade best players of all the time and you will count them by using the fingers of your hand (s).

Experienced gives you 99 continues but it doesn't matter the number.
You could give me 1,000 continues and all it would do would delay the inevitable. They are pointless.
Once you continue you become a pile of goo, a human punching bag. The enemies will gang up on you and kill you over and over.
