Welcome to Housemarque's forum. If you want to discuss our games or gaming in general, you're in the right place.

The reason this forum exists is straightforward: we want our community to come together, chat, share thoughts and find new opportunities for playing coop and/or collaborate in a friendly, relaxed manner. Also, if you start using this forum, it will be much easier for us to gather feedback on our games.

We drafted a simple, reasonable list of rules to facilitate discussion. Please be aware: we are nice and understanding, but if it comes to it, we will not hesitate to crush annoying behaviour with an iron fist.

You've been on the internet before, and you know what happens when no moderation is in place. Make sure you read the list below and you'll be ok.

Never used a forum? Here some instructions on BBC tags and "how to make things look right": faq.php?mode=bbcode

Housemarque's Forum Commandments:

1. Any kind of feedback, even when controversial, is ok. If you have something to say, please don't let us stop you from saying it. However, we and all other users dislike being insulted on the basis of gender, religion, sexual preferences or political views. Express your opinions with good manners, don't be aggressive, don't bitch like a 3 years old for no reason. In short: be an adult, or leave.

2. Let's face it, nobody ever convinced anybody else of anything on the Internet. As a matter of fact, the world wide web is programmed to implode if that was ever to happen. Hence, don't get personally offended for every little thing: respect what the others say, and outsmart them with cooler arguments.

3. Games are cool, we really believe it, and we want to have meaningful discussions on this board. But games are not everything. If you start shaking over an argument related to a game, think again. Or, even better, go take a walk, meet your friends, hit the gym. Then come back when you feel zen enough.

4. You're allowed to swear to a limited degree. Don't, if you can, otherwise live with the uncertainty of the moderator's wrath. Write in decent English. Use good manners and apply the netiquette. Also, don't write LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME.

5. Google stuff before asking trivial things. Also, make sure the topic hasn't been discussed in another thread. Duplicate threads will be axed. We will answer ONCE at people begging for conversions/asking for sequels, if there's no update any subsequent thread on the same topic will be nuclearized.

7. Do not promote warez or any other illegal activity. Console war is not admitted.

8. Moderate yourself when embedding YouTube videos on the forum, and don't post huge images that will screw up the layout. Instead, post links.

9. Everything that's OT must be discussed in the Community Area.

10. The various sections of this forum might have additional rules, please make sure to check. Ignorance of rules is not a good excuse for breaking them.

11. We will remove and delete all posts of all extra users the same user creates. There will be no warning for this.

Have fun!

Rule number 11 created, in honor of Xen, since he likes to create fake users.
