What are your thoughts on being able to explore 18 Quintilian planets?

No Man's Sky

Still on the fence. All that really matters is the answer to this question: "But is it FUN?". Who cares about all those planets, I want games that are fun, not big.

Anyway, the game has a soundtrack from 65daysofstatic which is an EXCELLENT band. I'll look forward to reviews.

I have absolutely no interest in this game but I really hope it's everything "everyone" expects it to be...

I think that this game will start to get boring too quickly, even though it's such a big world.

It's going to be a niche game: primarily single-player, part survival, part exploration, part ships-in-space. But i think a lot of people believe/want it to be something other.

Personally i've enjoyed Elite: Dangerous, however some areas are really lacking, so if NMS can fill in those blanks (despite not being a true space sim) i'll be very happy.

EDIT: don't forget this trailer either:

I think this game is going to be one of those games where you play if you have nothing else to do or just to kill time.

Has anyone already played this game? I am not fully convinced to buy it.
To want to, is to be able to.

I skip most of the games that are hyped or advertised aggressively. I've heard though that NMS is somewhat good nowadays and I think the outrage mostly was due to the misleading information about the game's features at launch. As in the game probably was decent at launch but people expected so much from it that it just couldn't deliver.
It's time to squash bugs and chew bubble gum... and I'm all outta gum. :1rolleyes:
